Left Me Overs
"My heart aches when I can't create. What shall I do? What shall I do?"
Left Me Overs is a mixed media art/perzine about my left hand, the desire to make things, and making do in general. In early summer 2013, I experienced an injury that drastically affected my ability to use my right hand/arm. This zine was the result of 3 months of on-and-off work as I tried whatever I could to keep up a decent creative output.
Nearly all of the writing and artwork was created using my non-dominant hand (with a few exceptions such as cut-paper letters for safety reasons).
This book is hand-assembled and hand bound using a slot and tab binding format. No glue, tape, staples or thread is used as the book's pages hold itself together.
7" x 8.5"
10 pages plus outside cover artwork
Full colour printing on 70lb uncoated Cougar text
